Meet Our Dentists

Catering

Dr. Bassel Gebrael (Periodontist)

Dr. Bassel Gebrael is a certified periodontist specializing in regenerative periodontal surgery to restore gum health as well as cosmetic gum surgery for smile enhancement, and dental implants. 

A 1998 dental graduate from the University of Western Ontario, he went on to receive a specialty diploma in periodontics from Nova Southeastern University in 2002. 

Dr. Gebrael is a member of the Ontario Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Ontrario Dental Association.

Dr. Elie Wolfson (Endodontics)

Dr. Elie Wolfson is a certified specialist in endodontics and handles all forms of root canal treatment including surgery, bone grafting and implants to replace fractured roots. His focus is on patient management and the use of technology to relieve pain and anxiety.

Dr. Wolfson is board certified in both Canada and the United States. He is a 1973 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia and has been involved with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada for more than 30 years where he has served as president, councilor and chief examiner.

He is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics, the American Association of Endodontists, the Ontario Society of Endodontists, and the Canadian Dental Association.

Dr. Nermine Gadalla

Dr. Nermine Gadalla has more than 20 years experience in dentistry working with adults and children and teaching healthy oral habits. 

She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University in Egypt in 2000, before coming to Canada in 2012. She is a licensed dentist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association. 

Dr. Gadalla is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and swimming.

Dr. Mustafa Abouzgia (Oral Surgeon)

Dr. Mustafa Abouzgia is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

His work has been published in a number of professional periodicals including The Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. He also has delivered presentations at a variety of scientific conferences. 

Dr. Abouzgia received his training at the University of Toronto and completed his residency at The Toronto Hospital. He continued his training in Toronto and was awarded a fellowship certificate by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. While working on a research project in the University of Toronto’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Abouzgia also earned a master’s degree in science. 

Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling and gardening.

Dr. M. Gaid (Anaesthesiologist)

Dr. M. Gaid is the in-house anesthesiologist. 

He graduated in 1975 from the University of Alexandria Medical School in Egypt and furthered his education at the University of Toronto to specialize in anesthetics in 1988. 

Dr. Gaid continues to educate himself on the latest technology in anesthesiology.

In his spare time, he travels and is a sports enthusiast.

Dr. Samantha Wierer

Dr. Samantha Wierer is a dentist who, especially, enjoys working with children. She prides herself in creating a calming and relaxing experience for her younger patients. She loves that dentistry allows her to create long-lasting relationships with all her patients. 

A 2019 graduate from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Wierer is also certified to provide nitrous oxide sedation to help those with dental anxieties. She is also a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Wellington-Waterloo Dental Society. 

Having grown up on a 2,000-care wheat and canola farm in southwestern Manitoba, Dr. Wierer now calls Orangeville home. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her fiance and dog or playing hockey with the Orangeville Tigers women’s league.

Dr. Farhad Riazi

Dr. Farhad Riazi has nearly 30 years experience and expertise in the dental field.

He graduated with honors in 1995 from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry, where he also received numerous awards in orthodontics, endodontics, and restorative dentistry. Prior to that, he studied in the Arts and Sciences program at University of Toronto.

His hobbies include golf, tennis, and table tennis.

What did you want to be when you grew up? A vet or a singer.

Hobbies/Interests: Love going for hikes and bike rides, love scrapbooking.
Favourite sport to watch/play: Watch Hockey, Play Ball Hockey (because I can’t skate).
Biggest pet peeve: The sound of people chewing, and people who ride the merge lane.
Favourite bands in high school: My Chemical Romance/ The Used. My music choices have changed drastically since then. Still and always will love Guns ‘N’ Roses.
Favourite vacation spot: Costa Rica
One thing on my bucket list: Learn to surf in Hawaii.
Hidden Talent: I can carry a pretty decent tune.
What are you really bad at that you’d love to be great at? I really wish I could play an instrument like piano or guitar.

Family/Pets? I have a son and daughter, plus a wonderful granddaughter Adaline. I also have a grandpup, Sutton, she is so smart!
