Small, regular visits that keep big problems away
A thorough cleaning and exam every six months is the single most effective thing you can do for your smile. Our hygienists are gentle, our dentists are thorough, and we always tell you exactly what we see.

About check-ups & cleanings
Brushing and flossing at home does most of the work, but only a professional cleaning removes the hardened plaque that builds up below the gumline. Regular exams also let us catch decay, gum disease and worn fillings while they are still small, painless and inexpensive to fix.
For patients with a history of gum disease we may recommend deep cleanings (scaling and root planing) every three to four months, and we will explain why if that applies to you.
Why patients choose this treatment
- Prevents cavities and gum disease before they start
- Fresher breath and a visibly brighter smile
- Early detection of problems, including oral cancer screening
- Lower long-term dental costs
- Most plans cover cleanings and exams, and we bill directly
Common concerns
Will it hurt?
Cleanings should not be painful. If you have sensitive teeth or gums, tell your hygienist. We can adjust our technique, take breaks, or use a topical numbing gel.
It has been years since my last visit.
That is completely fine, and you will never be judged here. We simply start where you are and make a plan together.
Your visit, step by step
Step 1: Review
We update your medical history and ask about any concerns or changes since your last visit.
Step 2: Cleaning
Your hygienist removes plaque and tartar, polishes your teeth and checks your gum health.
Step 3: Exam & x-rays
The dentist examines your teeth, gums and mouth. Digital x-rays are taken only when needed.
Step 4: Plan
We show you what we found, answer questions and book your next visit before you leave.
