About emergency care

Common emergencies we treat include severe or sudden tooth pain, a knocked-out, broken or chipped tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling of the face or gums, bleeding that will not stop, and cuts to the lips, tongue or gums.

When you arrive we will take digital x-rays to see exactly what is going on, relieve your pain first, and then talk through the best way to fix the problem.

Why patients choose this treatment

  • Same-day emergency appointments whenever possible
  • Open evenings until 8 pm Monday to Wednesday
  • Pain relief is our first priority
  • Oral surgeon and endodontist on the team for complex cases
  • Clear guidance by phone while you are on your way

Common concerns

My tooth was knocked out.

Hold it by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently without scrubbing, place it back in the socket if you can or keep it in milk, and call us immediately. Time matters.

I cannot afford an emergency visit.

Do not wait. Untreated infections get worse and more expensive. We bill insurance directly and can discuss payment options.

FAQ

Questions about emergency care

Still wondering about something? Call us or start a chat and a real person will answer.

If swelling is affecting your breathing or swallowing, bleeding will not stop, or you have a serious facial injury, that is a hospital problem, not a dental one: go to the nearest emergency department or call 911. For a painful but stable problem, use the first-aid steps on this page, leave us a message at 519-938-9500 or request a time online, and we will come back to you as soon as we open. Urgent cases are seen first.

Do not wait on dental pain.

New patients are always welcome. Request an appointment online or call us, and we will find a time that fits your week, including evenings Monday to Wednesday.
